2nd International Congress of the Centre for Research in Quality of Life (CIEQV): “Trends in Quality of Life Research”

The congress will be attended by the following speakers: Carlos Gutiérrez, Fernando González-Andrés, Ladislav Petrovic, Magni Mohr and Manuel José Lopes, from the São João de Deus School of Nursing of Évora, Portugal.

• The objectives of the Congress are essentially to promote synergies between research networks and centres, to support research in the field of quality of life, and to promote community services, in order to improve citizens’ quality of life.
• To intervene socially and politically, at local, national and international levels, in the development, promotion and research of quality of life.
• To promote and disseminate the research developed by the members of LQRC-CIEQV and share it with the scientific community, in the strategic areas of physical activity, nutrition and education.
• To promote students’ scientific initiation and researchers’ mobility, in order to enrich their experience and improve their education and training in the field of quality of life.
• To cooperate in multidisciplinary research teams, sharing projects and equipment.
• To disseminate and publish the results of scientific and technological research in the field of quality of life.

The organisation is the responsibility of CIEQV, a research centre in consortium between the Polytechnic Institutes of Santarém and Leiria, accredited and funded by FCT (www.cieqv.pt).
